We talk a lot about the “dimensions of diversity” but what exactly does that mean? Well, we’ve come to the realization that diversity is like a diamond. In nature, pressure produces a diamond. Experts then cut intricate facets into the raw material to create the precious stone. So, the eras of difficulty we’ve lived through, past and present, have placed immense pressure on all of us to do better and be better for each other. And each facet of this expertly cut stone represents our intersectional identities. When those facets are brought together, they create a captivating brilliance, each angle revealing something new.
