Every year, Red Herring recognizes the top 100 leading tech startups in North America. This year, RealMatch is proud to announce that it has been selected as a Red Herring Top 100 North America winner.
The competition for the annual award is always tough. Every year, approximately 3,000 tech startups that were financed in the United States and Canada are eligible for the award.
Why RealMatch Was Selected
Why was RealMatch selected as a winner? Because digital publishers by the hundreds have engaged with RealMatch to power their online job boards. They’ve also partnered with RealMatch to become part of a job board network called TheJobNetwork™. RealMatch uses this network for performance-based ad distribution that provides digital publishers with a competitive advantage and generates revenue with recruitment advertising.
Additionally, RealMatch uses a proprietary matching technology that connects employers with candidates. This is a benefit to publishers because it provides them with a turn-key solution so that they don’t have to produce their own search algorithms.
RealMatch also offers services for publishers that include increasing site traffic, extending brand awareness, and improving audience engagement.
“We are honored to be recognized alongside such a select group of innovative companies,” said Gal Almog, founder and CEO of RealMatch. “This award is a testament that our vision and our cutting edge technology are disrupting the highly fragmented online recruitment market.”
The Evaluation Process
Red Herring selects winners based upon both quantitative and qualitative criteria, including technological innovation, financial performance, management quality, intellectual property, customer footprint, market penetration, and business model. The company reviews candidates by comparing them with the performance of other companies in the same industry.
“In 2014, selecting the top 100 achievers was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. We believe RealMatch embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture.”
RealMatch was founded in 2007 on the principal that the Internet is the job board. The company’s mission is to make online recruitment advertising a unique and lucrative revenue stream for online publishers, an efficient and results-driven process for employers, and a simplified, easy-to-use experience for job seekers. RealMatch is fulfilling this mission by building the largest and most effective recruitment advertising network on the web that connects employers and qualified job seekers together in a much more efficient manner.
