The monthly mobile user count for Facebook grew by almost six percent from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2014, which means that mobile advertising revenue is growing at a steady clip.

The Screen Sizes Are Getting Bigger

According to PC World, Samsung, HTC, Nokia and Apple have all increased the sizes of their smartphone screens. Not only have those screens gotten bigger, but the resolutions have also been improved. Apple and Samsung have also worked on delivering clear, stereo sound that makes it easy to hear a video without using earbuds.

PC World comments that phones with screens of four inches and smaller are all but a thing of the past. As large as the newer screens may be, the industry expects the screens to get even larger and the images to get clearer. There is also a move towards creating real stereo sound for all smartphones in the very near future, which would make videos much easier to enjoy.

According to eMarketer.com, spending on mobile video advertising will jump from $924.9 million in 2014, up to $2.69 billion in 2017. With a growth rate that is expected to triple revenues in only three years, it is easy to see why now is the time to get involved in mobile video advertising and take full advantage of everything that it has to offer.

Digital advertising experts understand the power of mobile advertising. The growth in mobile advertising revenue is impossible to ignore.
